Create an iOS application that used the ‘Gig Economy’ business model to directly connect the consumer with the skilled individual - similar other businesses such as Deliveroo and Uber. The app is designed to allow users to select their job requirements and source a verified individual in the local area to cater to their needs.
Car garages have been described as overpriced and are seen as a huge burden by many. The Mod-Jobs iOS app aims to give people an alternative way to approach car maintenance and modification.
Mod-Jobs has shown great promise as a concept iOS build and, alongside with its supporting digital media elements, is a concept that is currently being developed and tested further for official launch due to its popular interest.
Mod-Jobs Professionals can use the mobile app to find work based on their location which can vary from 1 to 100 miles. Using the app they can upload their mechanical skillset and subcategorise themselves making it easier for their customers to find them.
Customers looking for assistance with their car can use the ‘Discover’ tab to find a local professional who can deal with their request in a matter of minutes.
The Mod-Jobs professional has full control of their price range (depending on the job). They also have full control over which jobs they accept giving ultimate flexibility.
If the job is too big to undertake at the client’s home or office - the Mod-Jobs professional can send a request to the client to travel to their garage. The app also then provides guided driving directions to get there.
MORF really helped us bring our app to market by designing Mod-Jobs from the ground up. They were always in communication with us and consulted us on the best practices for the function and form of our app design, development and branding.
